Child Care Choices

Corporate Referral Service

Better Child Care Means Better Business!

The facts speak for themselves: The quality and stability of today's work force depends on the quality and reliability of the child care available to their children. The issue is a national one, but parents and employers right here in our community are feeling the effects every day of the work week.

The Bottom Line is that productivity and profitability can suffer when your employees experience child care difficulties.

  • Absenteeism - A valuable worker may miss days of work while conducting a caregiver search or staying home with a child when child care arrangements fail.
  • Stress, Low Morale - Job performance can suffer when child care arrangements are unsatisfactory.
  • Tardiness - Parents may have to make alternative provisions if a caregiver is ill or has an emergency.
  • Attrition - Competent employees may be forced to stop working altogether or seek a job with a company that offers child care benefits.

It makes good business sense, both economically and philosophically, to care about your employees' child care concerns.
