Child Care Choices  

• Distributes a newsletter on early childhood topics.

• Provides training on child related topics.

• Sponsors the annual Children's Festival held on the last Saturday in April at Baker Park.

• Provides speakers on child development and child care related topics including Choosing Child Care.

• Offers information and referral regarding children's issues.

• Advocates for families and children.

• Distributes publications related to child care including:

  • Maryland Child Care Demographics

  • Frederick County Child Care Demographics

  • Carroll County Child Care Demographics

  • Trends in Child Care

  • Early Care and Education in Maryland

Child Care Choices is a program of the Frederick County Mental Health Association, a United Way Agency, and a member agency of the MD Child Care Resource Network with funding from the MD State Department of Education, Office of Child Care. CCC is also supported by the Frederick County Government, private contributions and user fees.
